| The mission of DAV Outdoors is to promote the activities available to Disabled Veterans in the Outdoors. To bring awareness to the general public and other outdoor organizations on how they can help and promote these activities. In 2005 the Department of Arkansas began a strong partnership with Ranger Boats, they have supported the DAV convention, our annual Bass Tournament, and many other DAV missions. In 2007 the Disabled American Veterans, Department of Arkansas created a partnership between the professional fishing organization FLW Outdoors. FLW has been a major sponsor of the annual Bass Tournament, offered a special membership rate to become FLW members, taken disabled Veterans fishing with Pro Anglers. FLW Outdoors also had the DAV as their special guests at the FLW Championship allowing us to promote our organization and its activities.
We are currently looking to branch off in many other avenues of outdoor activities for Disabled Veterans. If your organization is looking for a partnership that will help Disabled Veterans, please get in contact with us. We are open to almost any group and activity that is out there. We are looking for hunting organizations, sports organizations, shooting organizations, and volunteers to help get Disabled Veterans in the outdoors.
The focus of this site is to partner Disabled Veterans with groups that are interested in giving back to those who have given so much. There are many Disabled Veterans that with a little positive encouragement from the public, could enjoy the activities they once enjoyed.
